The new house is so full of new discoveries and fun photo ops, which has been loads of fun even though we have been so busy with all the cross-city moving, full time commuting, and working on little (and large) projects around the house to make it super fabulous!
The master shower is fabulous, it's a little bit small, and a little bit old, and a little bit brassy (I'm more a silver colored fixture/trim kinda girl... especially since everything else in the bathroom is already nickel colored...) But it's great for showering, and since that's the real purpose, I guess I can't complain too much haha!

Speaking of those nickel (or silver colored, I'm guessing they're nickel =P) faucets, here's the AMAZING! garden tub =D Seriously, I'm not a huge bath kinda girl, but get me a full tub of nice hot water and a place to stick my laptop and watch some TV, and I'm a happy, relaxed little lady!

The house came with a bit of hardwood that wasn't mentioned in the listing! Yeah, about 10 square feet of it lol! The landing of our split level had a pretty wood finish, but the rest was disgusting wall to wall carpet that was in desperate need of replacement. We were actually going to replace this little spot too, but after pulling up the carpet, we weren't about to pull out some hardwood strips just so they would match perfectly! The landing is a little darker than the bamboo we installed, but for now, it totally works for us!

Wow the dull blue carpet mixed with the dull blue off-white paint everywhere really made the house feel cold (photographically speaking...) And the fact that the carpet was 15 years old and smushed down quite flat just makes me so insanely glad that we replaced it, even though it was quite a lot of work!! We've worked so hard making everything look fabulous, and despite the fact that I haven't taken a lot of good quality photos yet in the house, we're almost done with the upgrades we wanted to accomplish, and now it's really feeling like a perfect home!
