Suffice to say things have been busy around our neck of the world... It's the beginning of the fiscal year at work, which means more work, we've been frantically trying to get everything situated at the house so it can finally be unpacked, while at the same time trying to pack things for a fabulous disney vacation! And then, to cap off all the chaos, I get elected Commanding Officer of the Alabama Chapter of the Rebel Legion! Which is fantastic, don't get me wrong, but man it would have been awesome if that could have come at a different time haha! October is historically a crazy month for our base, the local zoo has trick-or-treating events that we go to every weekend, plus there's several charity walks and meet-and-greet events that are held annually once it starts getting cooler.
But in celebration of my promotion, here's a few lovely photos from one of those annual events, Star Wars Reads day! I was all suited up with Leia, but after the kids headed home, we stuck around the store to let me play photog as well. The event was at Pottery Barn Kids, which is one of my favorite places to troop, but if I ever have a kid, omg we can just toss my wallet right out the window, because I'm buying everything in that store!
