For the past 3 years, I've been chronicling my life through a daily self portrait. The first three years are posted on deviantArt, and this year I'm posting previews on blogger, following up the next day on deviantArt! I still take the photos each day, and it has been an amazing journey of self-discovery as well as a great learning experience! I wanted to become a better portrait photographer, and it must have worked as I landed a job as a portrait photographer (which I've since moved on from, corporate bs and artistic freedom have no place in the same job...) I think I have really taken this project and made the most of it, I've never caved and just done a quick 'myspace' type photo, I always plan out and think my shot through, even if sometimes that inspiration only takes me as far as 'sit in bed, put camera at end of bed, shoot picture'...
Even if you're not a member of deviantArt, you can still view all the pictures save a few that are in categories determined as 'adult' (though there is no nudity on my page I do on occasion post photos where I was naked while taking the photograph, but nothing is visible!)
