Geeky Wednesday: Photo Inspirations

This week I've had way too many ideas floating through my head involving couple's shoots, first I was just concentrating on figuring out a fun idea for engagement photos, then my mom informs me she wanted to send out save-the-dates, so being the un-boring bride I am I couldn't just let her use old photos for that! So then it was off to the races to figure out something for that photo-shoot as well!

Lucky for me my amazing wedding photography team ( A&S photography )  is doing our engagement photos, but I wanted more of  an editorial/fashion shoot, so I needed to come up with a concept. I figured this would be beneficial not just for me but for them too, since they gave us an awesome deal on our wedding package I didn't want to just bore them with something plain for engagement pics, I thought something awesome would be fabulous for their portfolio since they are quirky, fun photographers! =D Engagement pics are normally just so boring and cliche for me, and I have way too many 'normal' couple photos of me and my muscle man! So I think I've decided the concept for those, but here's what not to expect:

 

I've got so many ideas floating around, it was hard to narrow it down! In the end it came down to something that would match the rustic feel of the wedding, but not duplicate it, and also something that totally matches mine and the muscle man's style =) I think between me and Sam we've come up with a pretty solid concept that's going to be loads of fun to plan and shoot! So glad we're waiting until April to do them so I've got time to get together amazing props!

Here's a little taste of my geeky inspiration, courtesy of http://www.carolinetran.net, which is what I found after I decided on my concept and then found pictures to describe it to the photographers, so it's not exactly what I'm looking for, but it's on the same lines... I'm all about giving the photographer control and letting their creativity roll! I do enough of that on my own haha! And yeah, this photo is intentionally vague, I'm not giving the whole concept away just yet!
