Instead, we're celebrating the once-every-5100-and-some-odd-years holiday of the Mayan Calendar resetting!! =D We so wanted to be able to celebrate it in some amazing historic location like Peru or Chichen-Itza, but the budget (and the vacation time from work!) just wasn't there... So instead, we decided to take advantage of what we do have and celebrate with friends in our fabulous new house =D We're getting quite excited, and even decided to deck our Christmas tree out for just the occasion!

**And for the record, our Christmas gifts and groceries for a wonderful December 25 meal are already bought, no 'end of the world' talk or craziness here =P Just a super fun celebration of a once every millennia occasion from a really cool culture that both of us are fascinated by =D**
