Catching up, Chilling out, and Celebrating: Selfie Saturday

The past few weeks have been both super fun and super boring, mostly I've spent my time either hanging out with my wonderful muscle man (fun) and job hunting (boring). So I've got quite the backlog of daily self-portraits to post over at deviantArt (here) and lots of fun photos to share here as well!

But to start off the fun, this week's topic over at SelfieMagic was celebration, and with my fiance taking a few extra days off work on top of the long weekend, I had a great shot planned out to take at his parent's lake house... But as luck would have it, I left my camera at home!I did wind up with a great artistic shot though once we got home from the lake, I had changed out of my new bikini top into a sundress, but still had the bottoms on, and I really like the little frills on the backside of the suit =P

But because that's not a very good celebration self portrait, I went back to some of my sparkler pics from my birthday. =) I really liked how the more experimental ones I had done turned out, like the ones with movement and the ones with the sparks over my face. Much more celebration appropriate!

And even though it's not a self portrait, I just have to share this hilarious video of me celebrating being an adult... By riding a kid's toy at the outlet mall =P I love that I'm thin enough to fall within the weight limits of kiddie toys, the big wheels I had as a kid have nothing on this thing!
I'm horribly oversized for this thing, it's clearly made for a short kid, not a 5'7" 25 year old, but it was so fun to drive! I think my fiance and his friend were jealous they were over the weight limit... It's really wild how by turning the steering wheel back and forth you can propel yourself straight forward!!

  1. I looooooooooooooooove the bikini bottom shot! My personal weakness are tasteful sexuality shots, but so many people are weirded out by even implied nudity that I don't really do that any more or on my blog. But your shot is great- that hair down your back and frilly bottoms- awesome!
