All Week Wrapped up in One!

I skipped out on my posts this week (and last lol...) but the wait has been worth it, I've got one post today to cover Marriage Monday, Geek Wednesday, and my photo Friday post! (ok a bit of a stretch on that last one since I didn't take these, but some on it counts!)

We got our engagement pics back from A&S photography! They turned out a-mazing!! I had this idea that I didn't want typical, super posed pics, I wanted a very editorial, artistic photoshoot... And they delivered! I supplied the picnic concept, and Andrew suggested the location, which was gorgeous! And it was so off the beaten path, which made it so fun for us, it was like a journey just to get to the location, and then we got to have this fun, fairy tale picnic =)

Here are a few of my favorites!! 

 I had loads of fun getting together all the 'set dressings' for our picnic, from the amazing blanket (made by one of my great relatives, my parents couldn't decide who though =P) to the pillows to the suitcases, and even my little patchwork stuffed puppy! And then the food! Can't have a picnic without food, so I made pb&j heart shaped sandwiches, turkey sandwiches, and two types of cookies!

 Star Wars cookies of course! Come on did you really expect anything less from me? (I also made traditional chocolate chip haha)

Since photography plays such a huge role in my life, but my rebel didn't exactly fit in with the whole look of the shoot, but the 35mm was a perfect fit! 

 These turned out super gorgeous! I'm loving that glow off the water, it acted as the most brilliant reflector for these shots where we're walking with the suitcases! 

Those are just a few of the amazing gorgeousness from our engagement shoot, I was beyond amazed with the variety we had! I'm gonna get enough prints to plaster the walls like a wallpaper haha!
