It's been freezing lately, so we're using the fireplace loads now, which is fabulous for fun fire shots, but they're kinda boring... Lucky for me, since we use the fireplace so much we use these awesome throw in tubes that clean the flue that make these fun purple and blue and green flames! And then it went and snowed, an awesome snow too, fluffy and about as close to 'real' snow as it gets in Alabama, so naturally I had to get some shots outside of the scenery too! I thought they'd go nice alongside my fire shots =)

I'm no good at landscapes, but I just had to get a shot of the hills outside by the driveway, it was so gorgeous with the snow perched on all the branches =) I had plenty of time to get ready before I went outside, so I got all bundled up and made-up with an awesome winter face and had loads of fun even though I was freezing cold!
And where was the dog during all this you may ask? Well I had kind of forgotten he was outside with me until I heard him barking, so I went looking for him a little worried he had gotten into something like an animal or fallen and hurt himself... But no, he was just sitting at the backdoor wanting inside!! I think he was just upset because his beloved ball was covered in snow so he couldn't play =P
