This first little one is a wildflower I believe, but the rest of them are perennials the muscle man's mom has planted. It's definitely a bonus of her letting us live at her house, though I think she's a little upset I'm not planting any bulbs or anything in her flower beds this season hehe...

I have a seriously black thumb, and hate dirt under my nails, which is why I love going places like the botanical gardens! Gardening just isn't for me, as much as I adore seeing flowers in the spring.
I'm pretty sure this is a wisteria (vine? tree? bush? lol...) and while the smell was absolutely repulsive to me the blooms were so pretty! I meant to get a few more when the sun wasn't so harsh on the arbor it climbs, but the temperature changes weren't kind to it, and when we returned from Mississippi all the flowers were gone. That was ok though, I got several great shots before they fell off =)
I'm really no good with flower names, but this one was so delicate and pretty looking, and while most of the blooms were clustered together, this one stood out and was just one flower on the stem, very pretty! Quite the busy background though with the rest of the floral bush behind it, but after a boring brown winter, I'm ok with a little color overload!
And one last shot, not it's not a flower, but my muscle man was giving his car some attention while I was taking pics, and I thought it would be fun to shoot with my macro lens on my camera... I like the distortion it gives the front end and makes the emblem stand out, but the car isn't going to look like this for long... It's now in the shop for a makeover with a new front fender and hood... Definitely have to get some pics after that project is done!
